The same basic Pneuma-Seal principle of the inflatable expanding tube is applied to critical materials handling. PNEUMA-GRIPS gently hold, lift and rotate objects of virtually any weight or shape-round, conical or flat.

A typical unit consists of one or more flexible expanding tubes in a rigid channel retainer; operating controls; and a supporting yoke or dolly. When pressurized the tubes expand to grip objects evenly and without damage because only the tube touches the object. PNEUMA-GRIPS can be designed to grip outer or inner surfaces, or the edges of flat materials. The use of multiple tubes provides extra security due to the fact that failure of one tube will not affect the standing pressure of others. The object will continue to be held firmly and safely.
