Pneuma-Seal is an inflatable tubular element that, when pressurized with air, expands to apply a uniform pressure along its entire length. Traditional actuators are expensive to install and maintain. Typically they depend on a combined series of pneumatic cylinders, hoses and fittings which require costly high maintenance to ensure their reliability and performance.

Pneuma-Seal actuators, on the other hand, are simple to design, install and maintain. They are generally several inches to several feet long, and exert dependable uniform pressure along their length so that delicate jobs, as well as more demanding ones can be undertaken with equal ease and a minimum of maintenance.
